I Am Destined for More—and I'm Ready to Find My Way Back

Today starts a new chapter.

Not because everything is suddenly perfect. Not because I have every detail figured out. And definitely not because I woke up with some magical map showing me exactly where this new path will lead.

It starts because I have decided that I am ready.

I'm ready to socialize again. I'm ready to network more within the real estate community. I'm ready to reconnect with old friends, welcome new people into my life,and stop isolating myself while trying to carry everything alone.

For far too long, I have been beating myself up for not doing enough, being enough, or somehow having it all togetheragainst But the truth is,I am good enough. I have always been good enough. Somewhere along the way,I simply became so busy taking care of everyone and everything around me that I forgot to make room for the things that once made me feel alive.

And I'm ready to change that.

I Know What I'm Good At

I'm really good at finding solutions for sellers who need to make a move—especially when that move involves a major life transition.

Sometimes selling a home isn't simply about putting a sign in the yard. It may mean letting go of a place filled with memories. It may mean downsizing, helping an aging parent, settling an estate, navigating a divorce, relocating, or moving into the next season of life.

Those situations require more than paperwork and marketing. They require patience, creativity, compassion,and someone who will listen before trying to "fix" everything.

That is where my heart is.

I'm also really good at listening to buyersand understanding what they are truly looking for—not just the number of bedrooms or the size of the kitchen,but the life they want to create inside that home.

I love that moment when we walk through the right front doorand something changes. They begin imagining their furniture in the living room,their coffee on the lanai,their dogs in the yard,or their family gathered around the table.

Finding that home is more than completing a transaction. It is helping someone find the place where the next part of their story can begin.

But my desire to help people doesn't stop when real estate ends.

I have always been the person who tries to find a solution,make a connection,offer support,or simply sit with someone when life feels heavy. I want to be a serving light in this world. I want people to feel heard,cared for,and a little less alone after spending time with me.

That is who I am—and I'm no longer going to shrink that part of myself.

It's Time to Bring People Together Again

There was a time when I was surrounded by big groups of people. We laughed,connected,shared ideas,supported one another,and created memories together.

It lit me up.

Then life became complicated. Responsibilities grew. Disappointments happened. I became more guardedand more isolated without fully realizing how much of myself I was leaving behind.

But I miss my people.

I miss walking into a roomand feeling its energy. I miss introducing two people who need to know each other. I miss hearing someone's storyand discovering what we have in common. I miss laughing until my face hurtsand going home feeling grateful that I showed up.

So I'm going to start creating those opportunities again.

I'll be planning events where we can reconnect,make new friends,build relationships,support local businesses,and simply enjoy being together. Some gatherings may involve real estate or networking. Others may involve food,music,dancing,the beach,our dogs,or whatever sounds like fun.

Sometimes You Don't Burn Down the Past

We hear so much about leaving the past behindand starting over. Sometimes that is necessary. But I don't believe we have to burn down every part of who we used to be in order to become who we are meant to be.

Sometimes the past holds pieces of us that deserve to be carried forward.

The joy.

The friendships.

The confidence.

The woman who could bring people togetherand make everyone feel welcome.

The version of me who loved what she did so much that it rarely felt like work.

I want her back—but wiser,stronger,softer,and even more intentional.

This new chapter isn't about rebuilding my old life exactly as it was. It is about taking the most beautiful parts of my pastand bringing them into my future. Then I'm going to add more color,more purpose,more love,and maybe a few fireworks.

Because I am destined for more.

More joy. More connection. More laughter. More serving. More meaningful work. More memories made with people who genuinely care about one another.

And for the first time in a while,I'm truly excited about what comes next.
