If You're Praying for Peace, I'm Praying With You
By Kim Donahue
Some days, the weight we carry is easy for others to see. Other days, we smile, answer messages, show up for work, care for our families, and quietly wonder how we'll make it through everything on our minds.
I've had days like that. Maybe you have, too.
You might be praying about your health, someone you love, your finances, a relationship, or a decision you don't know how to make. You may not even have the words to explain what's wrong. You just know your heart needs rest.
Today, I want you to know that you are not alone. I'm praying for peace, too, and I'm praying with you.
Peace doesn't always mean every problem has been solved. Sometimes it's the strength to take the next step while you're still waiting for an answer. Sometimes it's a quiet moment when you can breathe, trust God with what you cannot control, and remember that you don't have to carry it all by yourself.
That's my prayer for us today:
Lord, please meet us in the middle of whatever is weighing on our hearts. Give us peace for today, strength for what's ahead, and the comfort of knowing You are with us through it all. Amen.
If this prayer speaks to you, please receive it as a reminder that someone is praying alongside you. And if there's something specific on your heart, you're welcome to share it with me. I would be honored to pray for you.
One day at a time. One prayer at a time. 🤍
