Downtown Sarasota Farmers Market

"Solitary Man": A Neil Diamond Tribute

Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Avenue, 7:00 PM. Tickets range from $30.90 to $72.10. David Jericko brings the songs of Neil Diamond to the stage in this highly regarded tribute performance. Florida Studio Theatre Performances

Twin Lakes Park, running July 24-31. Top young baseball teams from across Florida compete for the state championship. A wonderful family-friendly sporting event with high energy and community spirit.

Restore by the Shore

400 Benjamin Franklin Drive, 7:00 PM. A relaxing evening wellness event by the water. Whether you are a local looking for a peaceful Sunday wind-down or a visitor seeking a moment of calm, this beachside gathering offers a gentle end to the weekend.

Monday, July 27

Little League State Tournament Continues

Twin Lakes Park. If you did not make it out over the weekend, Monday offers another day of exciting youth baseball action as teams compete in the Florida state tournament.

Many menus include wine pairings and specialty cocktails. Participating restaurants are spread across both downtown hubs, making it easy to try a new spot each visit.

Friday Evening Dining on Main Street

Lakewood Main Street. Several restaurants and cafes along Main Street offer outdoor seating and a relaxed evening atmosphere. A Taste of the Ranch specials are available at participating locations. Check in advance for reservations, as Friday evenings draw a steady crowd.

Saturday, July 25

Live Music at the Plaza

Waterside Place, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Free admission. The summer concert series at Waterside Place continues Saturday evening with live music on the plaza. Farmers Market at Lakewood Ranch

Waterside Place, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Free admission. Every Sunday, over 100 local vendors set up at Waterside Place offering organic produce, fresh flowers, specialty spices, honey, artisan bread, baked goods, and prepared foods. Frequently named one of the best farmers markets in the country, it is a Sunday ritual for Lakewood Ranch residents and a lovely way to spend a July morning.
